Therapeutic Approach

My approach is somatically-oriented and attachment-focused, which means I center the body's nervous system and pay close attention to how a person responds to relational experiences. This is always in the background of all sessions, and gives us a shared understanding and common language for how you've managed (i.e., thrived, survived, struggled) in the past and how you face current situations today. This alone is an infinite source of insight and can be enough to assist in profound transformation. I also utilize Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work as a gentle yet powerful way to bring mindfulness to a concern, troubling emotion, or difficult experience so that healing can unfold.
